Supervisors, engineers, and trades assembled and led with an owner’s standards — longstanding relationships with the region’s best millworkers, electricians, plumbers, roofers, landscapers, and HVAC and AV professionals.
Homes built to be lived in.
Construction leadership across everything the Group develops — and a small number of private commissions each year: new homes and complete transformations, built to the standard of our own.
We know how great homes live.
The practice manages more than 200 high-end homes across Greenwich and Fairfield County — a daily view of how great homes actually perform long after completion: what ages beautifully, what fails, which systems earn their keep, and which decisions owners come to regret.
That knowledge shapes every design choice, construction detail, and material we put into a home. Creative direction and interiors are led in-house.
Ground-up homes and complete transformations for owners who want it done exceptionally — a few each year, by design.

Every home begins with how it should live — for this owner, on this land — before a single drawing.
Siting, light, approach, and privacy are settled first. The land tells you most of what the house should be.
Architecture and interiors developed together, led in-house, so the home reads as one idea rather than a sequence of decisions.
Full-scale mock-ups before commitments — kitchens, islands, critical rooms — so owners stand in the space before it exists. Then the region’s best trades, led daily.
The home is detailed to be maintained: serviceable systems, honest materials, and decisions that will still look right in twenty years.
“Davis Chase helped us see the property differently. They understood what was worth preserving, but they also pushed the vision further than we would have on our own. The result felt fresh and modern without losing what made the house special in the first place.”
— Robert B.
“The process became much easier once we could actually feel the decisions. Jeff and his team did not just show us drawings. They physically mocked up important spaces, including the kitchen and island, so we could understand the scale, the flow, and how the house would work for us day to day.”
— Frank C.
“What stood out was that they did not disappear once the project was finished. They kept caring about how the house worked after we moved in, from the systems to the details we would live with every day. It felt like they were invested in the home, not just the project.”
— Ralph M.

Building a home with us.
We accept a limited number of private residences each year — new builds and complete transformations — chosen for fit and held to the standard of our own work. If you are planning a home of consequence, we would like to hear about it.
